  6. II Thessalonians

  7. 3:17  The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
  8. Philemon

  9. 1:19  I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
  10. Romans

  11. 8  First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
  12. 9  For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
  13. 10  Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
  14. 11  For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
  15. 12  That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
  16. 13  Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

    II Corinthians

  18. 3  Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
  19. 4  Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
  20. 5  For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
  21. 6  And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
  22. 7  And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
  23. 8  For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
  24. 9  But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
  25. 10  Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
  26. 11  Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
  27. Galatians

  28. 6  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
  29. 7  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
  30. 8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
  31. 9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
  32. 10  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
  33. Ephesians

  34. 15  Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
  35. 16  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
  36. 17  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
  37. 18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
  38. Philippians

  39. 3  I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
  40. 4  Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
  41. 5  For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
  42. 6  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
  43. 7  Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
  44. 8  For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
  45. 9  And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
  46. 10  That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
  47. 11  Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
  48. Colossians

  49. 3  We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
  50. 4  Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
  51. 5  For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
  52. 6  Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
  53. 7  As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
  54. 8  Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
  55. 9  For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
  56. 10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
  57. 11  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
  58. I Thessalonians

  59. 2  We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
  60. 3  Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
  61. 4  Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.
  62. 5  For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
  63. II Thessalonians

  64. 3  We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
  65. 4  So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
  66. 5  Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
  67. 6  Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
  68. 7  And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
  69. 8  In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
  70. 9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
  71. 10  When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
  72. 11  Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
  73. 12  That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  74. 2:1  Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
  75. II Timothy

  76. 1:3  I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
  77. 4  Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;
  78. 5  When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
  79. 6  Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
  80. Philemon

  81. 4  I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
  82. 5  Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
  83. 6  That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
  84. 7  For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
  85. 8  Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,
  86. I John

  87. 1  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
  88. 2  (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
  89. 3  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
  90. 4  And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
  91. III John

  92. 2  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
  93. 3  For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
  94. 4  I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
